Mentoring And Counseling Services (MACS)

Williams International College has a unique continuous mentoring program for students during their academic life in the institution. The endeavors of each student are guided by a mentor assigned by the college. The responsibilities of mentors often go beyond academic activities and encourage students on various aspects of his or her life. Each class is assigned a mentor who shall be available and accessible for one on one interaction with the students. The mentor also monitors attendance in individual subjects, tracks the development of academic work, and motivates the students on a constant basis. The mentor will also, based on the assessment of the student, provide counseling and advice.

The faculty of Williams International College not only acts as teachers but also act as coaches. Each student is assigned to a faculty member to approach when guidance in life or career is needed. Faculty members are exhorted to give the utmost priority to the personal welfare of their wards. The role of the coach is to monitor the students concerning their Personal and Professional Achievements. Attendance in each semester and the internal examination marks are closely monitored. Each student is required to meet their coaches regularly. A register is maintained with every faculty to record the report about the students.

In order to ease the Coaching process, there is an hour allocated for Coaching for each of the classes every week. This enables the students to at least meet and interact with their coaches once a week. The Coaching process has helped the students to share their difficulties with the coaches. It has also increased the faculty engagement with the students to better understand them at the individual level and pay attention to their holistic development during their MBA program.
